Ownership and commercial terms during the private beta.
Syntho is in private beta. You keep ownership of the module code, UI, presets, and original assets you create.
Early supporter plans
Paid plans support the beta and are intended to help people build real products. Before any payment, we will provide the current beta terms and confirm whether the plan fits what you want to build.
Final commercial permissions, revenue thresholds, update coverage, and post-1.0 rights are still under legal review and may change. No current plan promises perpetual, uncapped commercial use unless its written terms explicitly say so.
Framework and export rights
The SDK, compiler, CLI, examples, and generated native shells are not published under a general open-source license. Do not redistribute or vendor the framework itself unless your beta terms grant that right.
Native distribution may also carry format-specific obligations. VST3, for example, uses Steinberg's SDK and agreement. Samples, impulse responses, models, and ported DSP keep their own upstream licenses.
The practical rule is simple: keep provenance for third-party material, read the terms presented before purchase, and ask us about a specific release before you depend on an assumption.
