Imagine it
Start with a sound, a feeling, or a problem worth solving. Turn a gong into a living texture. Tune a pedal to your playing.
Studio is the agent-led interface built on the Engine. Describe what you want or bring your own sounds, and the agent handles the code and development tooling while you direct the result. No development experience is required.
A shorter path to something polished, playable, and ready to release.

Start with a sound, a feeling, or a problem worth solving. Turn a gong into a living texture. Tune a pedal to your playing.

Listen, adjust, and keep refining. A coding agent can build the project end to end while you direct the result, without opening the hood unless you want to.

Use it in your own setup, share it with collaborators, or package it as a product people can buy.
The problem we solve
Building an instrument or effect that other musicians can use still means juggling audio code, interface tools, DAW testing, packaging, and platform-specific work.
Change the code, rebuild the plugin, reload it in the DAW, then listen. Even a small adjustment can interrupt the creative flow.
A single plugin can involve DSP code, plugin SDKs, native build tools, interface code, packaging, and signing.
Agents can inspect visual patches, but the project structure, connections, and expected behavior are not always clear enough to make reliable changes.
A patch or plugin does not automatically run in a browser, a standalone app, or on hardware. Each version has to be integrated, packaged, and tested.
Syntho brings that work into one typed project. The sound, interface, parameters, and tests stay together wherever the project runs.

Let’s work together
The Engine is a major part of our research because creating an instrument—and especially carrying a research result into a DAW—has required years of low-level plumbing. Its compiler, SDK, UI kit, and compatibility work give more ideas a path to musicians.
It is one project inside a broader program spanning drum-kit generation and evaluation, MIDI and symbolic-music models, theory visualization, and musical agents. We build that future with partners from research and industry.
