Hear and inspect automatic latency compensation.

About

A real parallel filter and lookahead-limiter effect whose dry branch is delayed by the graph engine so both paths reach the mix at the same sample.

InitParallel Focus

Signal graph.

Experimental

The exact normalized graph packaged for the shared browser/native runtime and exports.

How it works.

The input splits into a clean dry gain and a wet branch containing a state-variable filter followed by a lookahead limiter.

The limiter needs 102 future samples at 48 kHz. Graph planning propagates that arrival time to the sum and inserts the same 102-frame delay on the dry edge.

The face can visualize the compensated and hypothetical raw timelines without disabling safe processing. Right-click opens the shared diagnostics panel, whose Latency tab shows the executable plan beside the host's runtime report.

Goes well with.
